Roger M. Tornow, president of TORNOW ASSOCIATES, P.C., started his own planning and landscape architecture firm in early 1998 after nearly seventeen years of project management with a local planning firm. During the last twenty eight years, Roger has had the opportunity to work on a variety of development projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area, Sedona, Lake Havasu City and Show Low, Arizona. Roger is a registered landscape architect in Arizona and has applied his talents to a mix of design challenges within various communities throughout the state.

Roger was the planning project manager for such award-winning communities as Grayhawk, Whisper Rock, Terravita, Anthem, Bellasera, SunRidge Canyon, Scottsdale Mountain, Estrella Mountain Ranch, Stonegate and Kierland. Tasks included master planning of the communities, neighborhood and subdivision planning, building envelope design, open space systems, golf course routing, landscape architectural master planning, landscape design guidelines, and landscape architectural design [please refer to Profession Services].

Roger's understanding of the various ordinances and the agency approval process has made him an invaluable member of the design and development team from initial master planning, through project theme development and project construction.
